Following talks between Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the two countries signed a series of cooperation agreements. The agreements cover a wide range of areas, including energy, transportation, justice and digitalization, and are aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.

Under the agreement, a memorandum of cooperation on road transportation was signed between the Ministry of Transportation of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, and a consensus was reached on cooperation between the judicial authorities. Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund, Samruk Kazena, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and concluded two major energy agreements with Masdar, including a 500 MW all-weather power supply project and the construction of a 2,000 MW energy storage system.
In the field of digitalization, Samruk-Kazena signed an agreement with AIQ on digital transformation of the oil and gas industry, and Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development partnered with UAE-based Presight to establish a supercomputer cluster. In addition, Kazakhstan's National Gas Company reached an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Ports Group to expand the size of Kazakhstan's trade fleet.
The two countries also signed an agreement on social infrastructure cooperation, whereby the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development will finance the construction of a maternity hospital in the Turkestan
region of Kazakhstan, to be named after Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Ministry of Transportation of Kazakhstan reached an agreement with Astana Airport Terminal Ltd. to jointly
develop Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport and the surrounding area.
Kazakhstan's President Tokayev said, “These agreements will open up new opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries and promote sustainable development in key areas.”
